Junior Market Analyst

We are looking for a Junior Market Analyst to strengthen our research team.
As a Junior Market Analyst, you will support our team of Market Analysts and Data Scientists in a flexible environment which encourages you to learn and develop your own role and gain more responsibilities quickly.
In your role you’ll experience the full cycle of a market intelligence project, from scoping to delivery. You will perform a wide variety of tasks: research scoping and design, desk-research, quantitative/qualitative research, acquisition, data modeling, (financial) analysis etc.
To give you a more straight-forward idea of our work, examples of recent projects:
- Supporting export decision for an international software company (geo-expansion)
- Assessing market attractiveness before a M&A decision (commercial due diligence)
- Providing insights to support future sales & marketing actions (brand monitor)
What You Bring
• Higher professional education or University background (economics, business administration, agrotechnology or similar)
• Curiosity, enthusiasm and an ambitious mindset + willingness to learn
• Ability and flexibility to work independently in a highly paced environment
• Fluent in Dutch and (business) English is a must
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (quantitative and qualitative)
• Eagerness to learn or experience with Excel, Thinkcell and SPSS are a pre
